Challenge #7: Promote/Rec/Sing the Praises of Yourself!

Aw yeah... I'm awesome.



I'm just... really smart at the things I'm smart at. I'm in a doctoral program, and while I really only concentrate on one element of 10 years of human history, I can tell you so much goshdarn stuff about it. I'm also pretty good at developing a baseline skill at most creative endeavors I undertake (baking, sewing, drawing, knitting, writing), I am fantastically eccentric in ways that I hope are edutaining and enjoyable, and I try to be kind when I can be.

Anyhow, here's some recs:

Final Fantasy Tactics: I archive all my coolest FFT art/fic and links to ancient FFT fansites on Neocities in addition to having set up shop as CorpseBrigadier on Ao3. The best stuff I feel I've done is this tarot-themed worldbuildy piece featuring three distinct flavors of villainy, this bittersweet IF adventure about the older Beoulve bros crappy time in Ordallia, and this angstastic misery slog about Wiegraf being sad about everyone's sister. I'm forever convinced that everyone in my art looks like a potato, but I feel pretty good about this stark line art piece featuring my fave patricidal mushroom enthusiast

Final Fantasy VI: I wrote this rad double drabble sequence about Sabin dying or not dying, and it's one of my sharper bits of writing in general.

Everything Else: Unquestionably, the most brilliant thing I wrote last year that didn't involve the words "final" or "fantasy" was a fake academic article about Immanuel Kant being gangbanged by aliens. Artwise, I'm probably proudest of this two card tarot deck for Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead.
