The amateur radio license goal is very cool, even if I am studying very slowly in the anticipation of actually bothering to take the test sometime in early 2025. It's the end result of having gotten invited to a Ham convention after chatting up the cool and interesting engineering PhD standing next in line to me at graduation and learning we were two people with a ton to say about Rudyard Kipling's "Wireless." :]
As for the job, I hope your energy manifests because I very much would love to be hitting da bricks right about now, even if things are a little less dire than when I typed up this entry.
