The Corpse Brigadier

Aw man! I'm so glad to hear from somebody else who's into this chilling masterpiece of horror fiction. I have little idea as to how precisely I'd approach fanworks to it either (Epistolary fic about the same elements in another time and place? Alternate POV or storytelling style? More about the Cotgrave and Ambrose?), but it's the sort of thing I'd love to see. There's apparently a comic adaptation by Ibrahim Ineke and I found somebody's short animation project based upon it if you're interested in the scant derivative works I've found.
