Thanks! I'd rec the film, but it's... not actually that good (even if Lya De Putti is a complete delight to look at throughout it). I'm also super glad the guitar solo was pleasing because that was honestly the part I kept getting stuck on!

If you want any context, the story is basically that an impoverished writer claims that he'd sell his soul for money, a dapper gentleman who is incredibly obviously the devil shows up to tell him he just inherited a jillion dollars, and said writer goes and marries an obvious gold-digging siren who does not love him. This all makes the devil very sad, as he only feels happy when people reject his offers of power and money.
